1. Stay Calm and determine the extent of injuries or damage.
2. Call the Police if required or necessary, to file an accident report and obtain medical assistance if needed.
3. Limit Discussion of the accident and talk only with the police or your broker or Claims adjuster. Don't admit liability or fault at the scene or at any other time.
4. Get the Facts and essential details at the scene. Record the names, addresses, phone numbers and insurance companies of individuals involved in the accident, the names of any witnesses, and the license plate numbers of cars involved.
5. Call your Broker to report the accident immediately even if it's minor, wasn't your fault or you don't have all the facts.
